FALL Preview

OMG! So are you as sick of reruns as I am? How bout reality shows? Monday begins the fall season of comedy, drama and for my fellow Hero fanatics, VILLAINS! I can not express how excited I am for a season of good writing and as my EW, Rolling Stone and Perez Hilton reviews suggest (lol @ the last), this season shouldn't disappoint.

For those of you who are not avid DVR junkies like myself, here are some last season roundups and tidbits for the upcoming releases:

First up GOSSIP GIRL! (Premieres 9/1 at 8pm on CW)
Now I must say, this is truly a guilty pleasure of mine. I actually don't even like going above 40th at all much less the Upper East or Westside. However, this lil dramedy reminds me so much of the bored kids from my high school its hilarious/addicting/totally crack-like.

Last season we left off with a total tangled web of friendly incest and trying to fit in, even had a grand old coming out of the closet. In the way of a Dawson's Creek 2.0, these kids are waaaay too much to be still taking the SATs but hey ya go with it for cheap entertainment value.

Here's a clip from the first five minutes:

90210
(Premieres 9/2 8pm on CW)

Now any 80's baby has to be slightly excited and/or curious about this one. I was obsessed with this show back in the day from the first day Brenda and Brandon walked the halls of West Bev with corny ass Annnnnnnndrea to when Ray Pruit pushed Donna down the stairs to Dylan's entire life blowing up or dying to I swear everything under the sun happening to the Peach Pit or the After Dark to ultimately the wedding (and yes I cried almost as hard as the end of Sex and the City). Now the cast is younger, skankier and even better THEY REFUSED TO SHOW A FALL PREVIEW! So that means its either that good, or so bad I'll have blog material for weeks! Big ups to Tristan who plays the random adopted black kid in Beverly Hills...cuz that happens outside of Tom Cruise's house.

My Ultimate Excitement=ENTOURAGE
(Premieres 9/7 10pm on HBO)
THE BOYS ARE BAAAAAACK!

Last we left, Medellin sold for $1 and Vince's career and first attempt at producing left the guys in a lurch at Cannes. At least Drama got laid. This season promises to be just as good if not better. Not much needs to be said about Entourage, it's a fine piece of work much like all these heifers working all their goods into these Herve Langer dresses...

HEROES: The Villains
(Premieres 9/22 @ 8pm on NBC)

Now although the writer's strike totally derailed last season, I'm more than confident Heroes is about to make a strong comeback. Call me a nerd, geek, crazy whatever but since a young tike, I've always had an affliction for the paranormal, comics, science fiction, superheroes etc. This show definitely masters all of that. It's like a more rational X-Men. Forgive the writers for losing their way, i.e. those dumb twins with the stupid eye-dripping black blood and then people die unless the boy twin is holding her hands power. I know I know LAME but at least the "twins" were hot. Now we have a whole season of good vs. evil and what do Americans love more than that? Here's to counting down...

More to come so stay tuned couch poe-ta-toes!

I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...

There are many other Headcases in the world...here are a few..
