LOS ANGELES, CA -- December, 15 2009. In their 4th year of operation, The LAx Paperboys will finish 2009 with The 4th Annual JUST BE COOL Holiday Party. This event will represent the end of another successful year for The Paperboys, as they continue to build their JBC brand as one of the most organic marketing campaigns of their generation.

Keeping their end-of-the-year holiday party organic(guest list only), affordable($2) and entertaining(live music), The LAx Paperboys are building a movement that thrives off of positivity and positive people. The support that this campaign has generated over the past four years has provided The LAx Paperboys with opportunities to build relationships with some very powerful brands within and beyond the music industry.

This year, the Los Angeles based marketing team has decided to bring out a monster cast of burgeoning talent. With DJ Sean G (Pac Div) spinning all night, be prepared to witness late-night performances from at least one, possibly even all of the following JBC affiliates: Dom Kennedy, Pac Div, Carter, Skotch Davis and Rob Roy, to close out the night. Also, come dressed to impress for the infamous Photo Booth by Tommy B and make sure to be on your best behavior as C'est La Vie will also have their cameras out for full media coverage throughout the night.

The LAx Paperboys have a strong history of bringing out a generous mixed-crowd of urban taste makers; and by the way things have been going this past year, it wouldn't be far off to expect the same with this years holiday party. Through music, merchandise and creative marketing, the JUST BE COOL Campaign has successfully seized the attention of a worldwide audience and will continue in its effort to redefine COOL. Established in August of 2006, The LAx Paperboys are the new age, urban activists. LAx Paperboys are creative visionaries, who are committed to delivering their message and sharing their vision with the world. Inspired by the mission and work ethic of the young paperboy, historically known for delivering newspapers first thing in the morning, LAx Paperboys are the first ones up and the last to go to sleep for our work is never done.

Paperboy - someone who delivers the news. The position of Paperboy occupies a prominent place in many countries including the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Japan, mainly because the newspaper was the main source of information for a very long time. The Paperboy has long been the first paying job available to youngsters. Dedicated to spreading knowledge and information, a Paperboy is the last to go to sleep and the first one up in the morning.

The LAx Paperboys are dedicated to promoting positivity while elevating minds across all generations. Our global campaign, slogan and message to the world is JUST BE COOL. Through the JUST BE COOL. campaign, we will uplift our community and change lives worldwide. The JUST BE COOL. campaign is designed to redefine the word COOL through music, merchandise and creative marketing. The new definition of COOL is to, Keep a positive attitude about life and a world of peace, unity and progress. While keeping a positive attitude about life we are leading our generation to co-create a culture based on this new COOL mentality. "JUST BE COOL." is our global campaign designed to redefine the word COOL.

The new definition of COOL: Keeping a Positive Attitude about Life and a world of Peace, Unity and Progress.

Using music, merchandise and creative marketing, this campaign will raise our overall level of consciousness and change lives worldwide. The "Just Be Cool" Campaign will highlight and define the COOL lifestyle through music, merchandise and creative marketing strategies. We will educate others on how they can use positive energy to bring their dreams to reality. We are changing the way people think about themselves and their overall outlook on life and we will continue to enlighten the masses on how they can PROGRESS towards their dreams without frustration, anxiety, depression, etc. We will bring our young people closer to an understanding of the power they possess within and the power we possess as a unified people. Our influence is focused on but, not limited to the Hip-Hop generation. We are dedicated to uplifting our generation and helping others to recognize, take ownership of, and harness their own individual capacity for greatness. We will raise the overall level of happiness by creating a new culture of PEACE and PROSPERITY. We will encourage each and every one of YOU to embrace your circumstances and strive beyond with sincere ambition, confidence and conviction. We are proving to the world that there is strength in numbers and with PEACE, UNITY and a PROGRESSIVE mindset we can make a difference.

I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...
