...Or busy with your daily grind, the president had something to say..it went a lil somethin like this:
If you are lazy and don't want to read (then why are you on a blog? lol) here is the watchable version:
OR, you can read and absorb, HERE
Now I've had many a conversation about this very conflict. Many a debate and my conclusion has ALWAYS been the same. In paper after paper, class after class, random discussion or dinner topic after another, people are dying and suffering due to a few over-zealous individuals, a minority among masses, that will not let go and dialogue with eachother. Perhaps the UN should do what it is supposed to do, unite nations for peaceful dialogue.
Now say what you want to about Obama, he is a tool, the presidential seat doesn't matter blah blah. But correct me if I am wrong, none of our other tools have sat and told BOTH sides about themselves and called for mutual understanding, respect and peace. In addition, he called for it from the American people as well, who are quick to place judgements or take sides with very little understandings of the extent to which the complexities of such conflicts stretch abroad...ever. We are a baby nation who is obese and starving at the same time, can't educate our youth equally yet and kill one another, ourselves, because we can't handle LIFE but deem
the USA authority on all things democratic, civil, right and just. Not so.
Obama has embraced a global outlook. We are no longer...US and THEM even if people wanna make passports so flippin vital. We are all people that will all suffer the same fates if we don't WAKE UP.

- I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...
