My favorite day of the week!

NEW MUSIC TUESDAY DUH!

So it's B Day once again and I must say, I have mixed emotions....
Besides the already leaked Sweet Dreams, released Single Ladies and If I were a Boy, I'm left only loving a few and thinking it's gonna have to grow on me. I really expected this to be an automatic BANGER.

The I AM, admitted ballad side, while it shows growth and whatnot...I was...um well bored...

It's kinda like Snorah Jones, you can leave it on while you clean up and such but it's not like you wanna throw it on and sing along.

Now the Sasha Fierce side...There's "EGO"....Now, I'd like to sing this one to a few folks and DUH we can figga what bigga nigga this is about. And like I said "Sweet Dreams", "Single Ladies" and also "Video Phone" knock but other than that...umm....errrr......I hope she plays a lot of the last two albums on tour??!? lol I dunno B...I had high hopes too....

Also released today:
Femi Kuti's Day by Day...

I am a fan of his late father Fela and a fan of his. I can't get enough of the horn sections throughout the album. If you're a fan of afro beat or any world music for that matter, this album is a must. Be sure to check "They Will Run" and ALWAYS listen to Femi's lyrics....

Also...Dido's Safe Trip Home came out
I haven't had the chance to thoroughly listen to it but so far I like "Quiet Times" and "Us to Little Gods" so check it out...I'm glad she's still making music....

In other news...I heard T-Pain's new ish...
I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW IRATE I AM THAT HE SLAUGHTERED ERIC CLAPTON WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!??!?!?!?

Haven't heard it?

I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...

There are many other Headcases in the world...here are a few..
