So who watched? What'd you think??
Having listened to both candidates, here's my stance:
McCain spent a lot of his two minutes intervals either just stating the problem or trying to stab at Obama. Re-watch if you disagree. I felt Obama truly laid out a plausible plan that is feasible to help the economic crisis, not just in a 4-year term but over a period of time. Let's face it, the next President is getting FUCKED to say the least. It's like a hairdresser being handed a head consisting of a part mullet in the back and relaxer in the front and having to get it together an hour before showtime. IT'S A MESS!
What was also key, and needed to be said, was when Obama clearly stated that if you make less than $250,000, you will NOT be paying more taxes and then called upon McCain to define "rich". It's a CRUCIAL difference between the two candidates. What's hidden behind all of McCain's war, and "Obama's going to raise your taxes" rhetoric is that in fact he's pretty pro-war as Obama pointed out last night and all about keeping taxes down for his buddies. Most of us don't get to kick it with the likes of Cindy McCain and her $300,000/night wardrobe. Oh how I wish I could be a stepford wife but um no, WE ARE NOT THE SAME. Read between the lines folks, sorry to say, Cainy Cain doesn't care about ya. He's looking out for his friends in hiiiiiiiiiiiigh places. But thank goodness some of those folks actually do care. Take loud mouth Jim Cramer for example who WOULD be willing to pay up for the greater good of the economy. We are a UNION not a tank of Japanese Betta fish without divider walls.
Obama brought the reality. Much like when he spoke about his preacher he brought the truth. We should have NEVER gone to war and we NEVER did what we were supposed to do. It IS going to take actually sitting down with these crazies and starting universal dialogue, making our UN actually DO what they are supposed to do. Scoffing at such things McCain, quite frankly, alarms me (as did your name dropping and reference to your personal friendship with Kissinger because I highly doubt you've ever READ the man's work even if you are in fact friends). Such reactions are what lead to us being bullheaded and building atomic bombs because we firmly believe one faction speaks for an entire nation. Look what we did to Japan, and presently to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran...where do we end? We are not always RIGHT nor do we always know what is best for other countries.

- I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...
