Interesting and in the pocket...

So if you watched the debate last night, you remember a key moment when McCain repeatedly referred to Henry Kissinger as a friend of 30 years and that Obama was taking his words out of context.

Here's Kissinger's response:
"Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality," Kissinger said in statement issued by the McCain campaign.

Now might I highlight this part:
"My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality"

They are "entirely compatible" but you "do not agree on everything"....hmmmm that's not entirely compatible to me. This sounds more like someone from the campaign was like "Er uh...John make bold statements and you have to back them up NOW or we'll ruin your career" LOL.

Thoughts?
