I want to CRY right now...

(And I apologize to my friends who I yelled "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING IDIOT" lol because I was wrong)

I received an alarming instant message just minutes ago stating that if anyone wears any kind of Obama paraphernalia to the polls they will be turned away and not allowed to vote. I immediately dismissed it and told them they had to be kidding this was ridiculous and proceeded to email one of Obama's staff members. This was the response:

"I'm not a lawyer or a campaign law expert, so you can't quote me as a source or even refer to me as a campaign official or anything. I'm happy to point you in the direction of someone who can speak on the subject on the record.

Believe it or not, there is truth to this. In NYC, you are not allowed to campaign within 100 feet of a polling place. People have been known to turn their shirt inside out or put a jacket over the shirt to go inside and vote.

There's an election law expert named Jerry Goldfeder who may be willing to talk to you about this further."

Well the NY Times office is down the street so I'm going to do some digging for Mr. Goldfeder. As for this new development that is rapidly spreading across the Internet, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. For the first time this law is actually an issue? There are instances of it coming up in Texas, even Kansas but I never encountered it in California. Once again, the importance of this race is rearing it's ugly head. More so than hanging chads.

Now more crucial than making it to the polls you must be aware of your wardrobe choices folks and in the words of one of my best friends "better to be safe than sorry". :(

I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...

There are many other Headcases in the world...here are a few..
