I meet some interesting folk...

So as I'm returning my uber cute Via Spiga wedges (that I got on sale...and yes I wanted to cry), I see this on my sales person's hand. Well, being the inked person I am (and again yes all my tats have meaning) I asked what it meant..the convo went a little something like this:

M.: What's that mean?

Guy: It's  a 7 and a 6

M.: OK so is that the year you were born?

Guy: Nope

M.: The number of your hood? I mean what I'm intrigued now you're being so vague.

Guy: Well, you know how you have those dreams where you die or you're dying but you never see yourself die? Where like you're falling to your death but you don't actually see yourself hit?

M.: Suuuure i see my funeral all the time.

Guy: Well a while ago i had one where I was falling but i actually saw myself hit the ground and when I saw the ground there were the numbers 7 and 6 in blood.

M.:Whoa far out.

Guy: Yeah so I went to get a tattoo, told him what I wanted and the artist was like, 'Are you a Capricorn?' I was like  'yeah how'd you know that' and he goes 'Cuz this is the Capricorn symbol'.

M.: That's really mystic dude. Your dream spoke to you.

Guy: i know right?! Everything happens for a reason!

M.: Yeah, sure does! Can I take a picture? I'm totally gonna blog about you...

Lesson learned: have a dream about all future tattoos, preferably involving death, before I proceed to add mystic edge.

I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...

There are many other Headcases in the world...here are a few..
