Letter to Head Casers....

Hey Guys-

I hope this holiday weekend is treating you well and you are having amazing times with your friends, family and loved ones. I wanted to take a moment to do a few things while sitting with my family laughing, loving and reflecting. The first is to apologize for the lack of consistency lately. I'm on a journey right now and as a psychic stopped and told me yesterday, a lot of changes are commencing, so I'm trying to keep to up and do my best. It's a daring thing to go after your dreams. You don't know which way is up or right EVER but it feels good, it feels YOU so you just keep swimming and everything keeps flowing. Let me tell you, they don't call it a beautiful struggle for nothing and I'm enjoying it all. But in a nutshell that's where I'm at.

In the long run, I plan for Head Cases to grow with me along this journey which brings me to the second. I appreciate you ALL for hanging in there. The die hards, the newbies, the random passers-by. Your emails and comments are continually fulfilling and thought-provoking and why I do what I do. For PEOPLE. I believe we are in a human connection-starved time and every dialogue is precious. So I implore you to stick with Head Cases through the journey, through the growth of Where's Leslie?, through the random folks I run into, through most plainly...LIFE.....

Stay well....

I think I'm addicted... you really should never apologize, because when ur on hiatus for a day or two, I run out of distractions when I'm supposed to be doing work/ school! anyway, can you tell me exactly what "Where's Leslie" is? and what it's about? I keep reading stuff on ur blog about it, but what is it? :p

I'm blunt...and rather observant...DUH that means I should blog! I suffer from, no let me rephrase, I combat living with an AVM on a daily basis. An AVM is an Abnormal Veinous Malformation which affects about 250,000 people in the US (http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/cerebro/AVM.htm#Link8). It affects everyone differently, for me it's caused a constant headache since 2003...litterally. I've been in countless doctors offices, been poked and proded, been through the emotions of being misdiagnosed with a brain tumor. Needless to say, I've been through a lot and not just because of my...let's call it an ailment. Above all I've developed a less than common outlook on life and perception of things.Don't for one minute misconstrue, I'm in no way a victim, I'm self-sufficient almost to a fault and encourage others to turn their weaknesses into empowerment. It builds character and makes for one hell of a screenplay ha! That combined with growing up immersed in a semi-charmed world, and the glitz and glamour of Hollyweird leads to some interesting anecdotes...Here are my thoughts...

There are many other Headcases in the world...here are a few..
